Blue Light Blocking Glasses

Blue light blocking glasses are important to utilize during the day when using technology and particularly when the sun goes down in the evening to protect the eyes from the over exposure to non-native light that is being produced by the phone, tv and computer screens.

Over exposure to non-native light can cause sleep disruptions at night as the body becomes overly stimulated and thus cannot wind down properly to prepare for sleep. This can also be a cause of anxiety and insomnia. Our computer screens, smartphones, LED lights, TVs, and even the light inside our fridge all produce high levels of blue light and so we recommend using the glasses during the day and during the night to protect the body from unwanted stress.

Once the sun goes down each day, we need to adapt to the natural world around us. Biologically speaking, our bodies are designed only for sun light, moon light and fire light and so as we are living in a modern world with high technology, we must adapt and minimise our exposure to blue light which can cause suppression of melatonin, increase in stress levels, and circadian rhythm disruption.
